"When it ain't Summer, my hammock is Cold!" SOLUTION

A lot of outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy sitting back and relaxing in one of our hammocks have asked us, "How do I stay warm when I'm backpacking in my hammock?" It's true, the breathable, silk nylon lets cool breezes come and go through your hammock, and When it ain't summer, your hammock is cold! I was sleeping in my Green Armadillo hammock this past weekend with a few of my cousins and some buddies. A cold front had come through and brought some snow the night before, but this night was clear, and a brisk 31 degrees F. We weren't going to let this stop us from enjoying a peaceful night, rocking softly in our GA's. For a few of the guys, this was their first time sleeping in a GA hammock and I was a bit concerned they would wake up complaining about the cold; nope. All it takes to stay warm is a quick sleeping pad put underneath you to block the flow of cool air. As small as it seems, that little pad makes a world of difference during a cold night. And think about it, a 1lb. hammock, your 1/4lb. sleeping pad, and your mummy bag beats out carrying a bulky tent up a mountainany day. So, if you ever wondered, "When it ain't summer, my hammock is COLD!", take this simple solution and put it to good work. Summer or winter, 75 degree summer nights or 25 degree winter air, you'll never regret bringing your hammock to sleep in.
